Team Rynkeby gets a record number of sponsors on the cycling wear
This year, 1,342 companies are getting their logo on Team Rynkeby’s cycling wear. It is the highest number of clothing sponsors ever.
Team Rynkeby’s well-oiled charity machine is charging full steam ahead.
Friday was the deadline to get sponsors’ logos on the charity cycling team’s distinctive yellow cycling wear for this summer’s Tour de Paris.
And it is with great satisfaction that Team Rynkeby Foundation’s CEO, Carl Erik Dalbøge, can announce that once again, Team Rynkeby has succeeded in outdoing itself.
This year, no fewer than 1,342 businesses will have their logos on the clothes of Team Rynkeby’s 54 teams. This is an increase of 3% compared to the previous year.
“The teams have worked incredibly hard to sign the many clothing sponsors. We’re operating in a market that has seen the arrival of new players, and where competition has grown. So it’s unbelievably good news that we’ve succeeded in getting more clothing sponsors than last year, which means that right now we can already track a big increase in the overall fundraising,” says Carl Erik Dalbøge, CEO of Team Rynkeby Foundation.
Big increase in major sponsors
It costs a minimum of € 2,500 to get a company logo on Team Rynkeby’s cycling wear, but many businesses have donated significantly larger amounts.
This year, Team Rynkeby has no fewer than 43 platinum sponsors who are contributing at least € 12,500. This is an increase of 43% compared to the previous year.
“It’s really interesting that there are so many businesses that view Team Rynkeby as such an important collaborative partner that they want to contribute such large amounts. This only happens when companies have a lot of confidence in the project they are getting involved in,” says Carl Erik Dalbøge.
Platinum sponsors get their logo on six teams, in addition to an array of other marketing benefits.
The successful sponsorship work means that currently Team Rynkeby is more than € 350,000 ahead of the result at the same time last year.
